12/4/03- What's happening my brethren?!?!?! Well not much action comming from the band side of things lately. But we're getting ready to kick it up a notch again and you'll be hearing us soon. Well here's a gig update: we are currently looking for a New Year's Eve gig in the middle Georgia area, if u can help tell us. Matt's birthday is comming up on the 16th so everyone wish him a happy birthday and we'll probably play somewhere for this monumentous event, lol! We have a possible gig comming soon this month but i don't have much info on that, I'll keep you posted. Now for some band news: Ca'ron is still on sebaticle and we are just anxious to get him home, but until then we're gonna play like he's with us every moment. Cody "Chazz" Lynch one of our guitar players left Upward Fall at the end of last month for creative reasons, nothing personal. Chazz we wish you the nest and hope you find what you're looking for. But with bad news always comes good news and in this case fucking awesome news! We may have a singer now and I must admit they are everything I've been looking for for UF. Her name is Lisa Wilson and she's kickin it over at HoCo. Now Matt and I have known this girl since Kindergarten, I've always known she has a phenomenal voice, but i never knew she was digging the music. Apparently she is and she's taken interest in our music. So we're gonna rehearse with Lisa this weekend and hope everything works out alright. Well thats our update for now, keep us posted on what you think... use my link to Zakk's site to give us messages on his board. Peace out guys.
9/28/03- Hey everyone, here's a little update on whats been going on for us lately. Last night we played a party for Brittni Hawes and we were kicking. We played well and everyone was in the mood unlike at Candice's party where no one really seemed to dig us. We also think we may have a manager lined up for us which the band is pretty stoked about. We are now going to wark hard on our originals because we believe we may be recording this Thanksgiving if all goes as planned, this is not certain yet. Also we have a bit of news on more of a business note. As of late we've been playing alot of free shows out of the goodness of our hearts. This was because we know that people are poor nowadays and we understand. Due to the fact that we ourselves are now extremely poor and we need the money for our recordings, merchandise, etc. we will no longer be able to play free of charge. Upward Fall must be paid now with very small exceptions... our prices range anywhere from $60-$200 depending on the venue and the length of time we play. Thanks for understanding guys. Peace!
9/11/03- The new lineup will have its first show this Saturday (9/13) here in Warner Robins. We will be playing a party for host Candice Hall. The party rocks from 8:00-12:00 and this time we hope not to see any piggy action (the cops for you stupid people out there). If you have any questions or need any info call Danny at 478-922-2375.... check us out and hope to have mroe news soon, c yah!
9/9/03- Dissapointing news to all of you Upward Fall fans tonight. There have been a few lineup changes as of Monday evening. This information is still not entirely validated but it's pretty much how it's gonna be. Drummer Matt Callahan left Upward Fall upon our gig friday night for his own reasons. Ca'ron Gordon will pick up again as our regular drummer. But on a happier note, we welcome Cody Lynch, the guest artist form our show, to the band as our new lead guitarist. Zakk Thomas will still play guitar and we hope to sound even better with the four of us playing. Keppin yah posted, stay tuned....
9/7/03- Well the gig this past friday night at Matt Marone's house was in my opinion amazing and we rocked the house. There was about 10-15 people who actually showed to watch us play the whole show and they were digging it. We went through our newly devised set list that we practiced on the saturday before at Danny's private bash and sounded like a professional band. Danny and Zakk sang for the show. Upward Fall was more than happy to welcome back to the stage Ca'ron Gordon, our drummer who came back and blasted the show off for us all night long, We were also very lucky to play with guest musician Cody Lynch who strung out some amazing lead riffs on guitar for us. The Party was broken up at about 10:00 by the Warner Robins Police, our very own men in blue. As Officer Pighead walked in we were in the middle of Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Simple Man"... believe me we got some funny looks. Be on the lookout for our next show.
